07/21 Update: Cameron is super smooth and consistent on field goals. He again won the Seattle 2-Day camp with over 25 kids and was perfect just like the National Showcase from 30 through 55. He proved at this July 16-17 camp that he’s made big gains in all 3 phases – FG/KO/P and is a contender for D1 football. He has excellent grades and a big-time SAT as well. Cameron is a student of the game, is very coachable, and excels under pressure. His aura during the competitions is different than most HS kids – he’s locked in and does his thing with little talk.

Field Goals are D1 ready with a perfect end over end ball flight that goes dead straight. Punts have improved massively and he could easily start at most D2 and FCS schools for P and would serve as a suitable starting kicker / back-up punter at many FBS schools. His kickoffs have good power and he’s working on adding another 0.10-0.15 seconds while keeping the same distance, which I’m confident he’ll accomplish by the start of this season. If you need a smart & reliable FG kicker who’s D1 ready and almost there on KO and P too, he’s your guy.

Cameron had a solid showing at our 2020 National Showcase and earned a spot on the Kicking World Hot Prospect List. His strong suit is field goals, having won the Day 1 Overall FG Charting session making a perfect 8/8 consecutive kicks from 30L, 30R, 35L, 35R, 40M, 45M, 50M, 55M. He also drilled a 55 yarder on Day 2 but was eliminated at a very respectable 60 yards. At our July 2020 Seattle camp Cameron missed his first FG then went a perfect 7 out of 7 from 35R through 55 yards. He finished runner-up overall in that event. He also won the punt accuracy content and has shown real potential on his punts. I’d love to see him spend more time on that as I think he could be a viable FG/Punt specialist at the FCS or better level. His kickoffs do need work, as while he can kick it far, his hang times aren’t quite where they need to be.

He’s a very reliable field goal kicker and with some focus on mechanics could evolve into a real weapon and top-notch college recruit on the West Coast/Pacific NW. Cameron’s team didn’t have a season this year so he did not have any in-game opportunities this season but is already enrolled for more camps and he plans to get dialed in instructional this off-season.
