Student Coach Success Stories
The awards and accolades kept coming in this fall for Kicking World college students, and we just had to share the news with y’all! Each camp season, we are fortunate enough to have dozens of Kicking World alumni who graduate from our high school training program and become college student-athletes. From that pool, a select few are invited to become student coaches on our camp staff.
We, of course, have high expectations for each of our student coaches, but this year, we were so impressed and proud with how just about every student coach on our staff earned some honor during and/or at the end of the season.
Read below as we highlight each current KW student coach who earned at least a Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, was named to an All-Conference team, or set a school record.
Of our 11 college student coaches, 9 earned one or more honors this season!

Ewan Johnson – East Tennessee State University

At the time of this blog post, the college All-America Teams were not yet announced, but we expect at least a couple of these students to earn such accolades. Additionally, the Kicking World All-America Team selections begin later this month. Look for another blog post announcing any high school and college all-Americans honored by Kicking World. Thanks to all of our student coaches for remaining a part of Kicking World and helping to give back to the next generation of kickers and punters!
