Lucas has a big leg and was only kicking for one season before earning a 2020 National Showcase invite. He held his own at last year’s national event finishing #8 overall on Day 2 kickoffs hitting several kickoffs in the high 3.9 seconds hang time range as a then HS junior. In a short amount of time, he’s improved greatly and now kicks his kickoffs deep with good hang and hits a good field goal. Lucas has shown he can excel under pressure and has faired well at all of our camps’ field goal competitions. The 2022 kicker shows a great deal of potential and if he can continue to improve he should make for a solid college pick-up.
