Jason Sanders Touchdown Catch

Today Miami Dolphins Kicker Jason Sanders became the first NFL Kicker to catch a touchdown pass since Jim Turner on 10/16/1977 (as per @CBSSportsHQ on Twitter). He also drilled a 51 yard field goal to help seal the deal in the upset win over the Eagles with a score of 37-31. That kick had 10+ yards of room to spare! As if that wasn’t enough, on November 13th after kicking 3 field goals (48, 48, 47) in one game, Jason was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. A week later he made headlines for his athletic self-onside kick recovery.
Sanders is making a real case for Pro Bowl kicker honors. If you’re a fan of all of Jason’s awesomeness, cast your vote to send him to the 2020 AFC Pro Bowl.
Today’s performance was a fantasy kicker’s dream, compiling one field goal over 50 yards, 2 PATs, and a Touchdown for a total of 12 points in one game! He did miss one PAT in the game : (
We’re beyond proud of him and look forward to each week’s game to see the legend of Jason Sanders continue to grow said Kicking World owner, Brent Grablachoff.

*Stay tuned for updates on Jason’s awesome day on the official @KickingWorld Instagram page and check back here for a potential video interview with Jason as things cool down from the major media exposure he’s received today! He was more worn out from the post-game interviews than his few kicks and touchdown.
