Throughout your football career, you may encounter injuries. Yes, it stinks to get injured and at the time you may think ‘it’s the end of the world, my season is over, life stinks, this is just awful!’
Well, the reality is, life goes on, and an injury is simply an obstacle you have to overcome on your path to success. How you react to injuries ultimately will determine your fate. If you take it as a temporary hiccup along the road, you will beat it and come back even stronger. If you let an injury take your will and you just give up, well then you won’t be back in the game and you can kiss your season or career goodbye.
Attitude determines everything. Work hard, rehab your injury, follow the doctor’s protocol, pray about it, and will it to get better. Many times good athletes come back even stronger after knee surgeries, etc. (Adrian Peterson for example)! Good Luck to anyone who has encountered an injury this preseason… we wish you a speedy recovery and hope you’re back on the field in no time!
