Jacob had a great showing at our 2019 National Showcase finishing in the top group of field goals and kickoffs both days, and held his own in punting too. He has a huge kickoff leg and can hit 70+ yards, 3.8+ seconds no problem. He crushed a 53 yard FG in a live preseason game on 8/23/19. He has had consistent showings at all our 2018 and 2019 camps, particularly the Denver, CO May 18-19, 2019 event. He led the very competitive field on both Punt Charting and Kickoff Eliminations where 6 of the 30 campers earned National Showcase invites. Jacob’s strength is definitely his kickoffs, then field goals, then punts. He’s an FBS level recruit with a terrific attitude who is responsive to all my communication and shows lots of hustle. He turned around a less than stellar cumulative GPA his senior year by putting in extra effort and grinding hard. Jacob also showed some solid punting throughout the last 2 camps and I’d like to see him continue working on that, smoothing out his steps and form, and being able to duplicate his best balls more. He shows some great potential and should evolve into a top recruit this coming senior year. (task list completed)!
