Eli has a very high academic class rank and a great SAT score. He does well under pressure in-game and has delivered during the field goal competitions at Kicking World camps, and more recently has really turned up his punting ability. At our 2019 National Showcase Eli finished #2 in the Punt Elimination competition and in the FG elimination competition he made kicks through 55 yards before missing at 60. Eli is consistent on field goals from 50 yards and in (with a range back to 55) but does need to eliminate the occasional wobbler. At our Oct 2017 Austin TX camp Eli was a perfect 100% through 55-yards and won the overall Golden Boot, even as a younger group sophomore. On kickoffs he averages 60-62 yards, with a 3.6 hang time consistency range. I’d like to see him get that up to 65+ yards with routine 3.8+ second hang times. He’s a clear-cut D3/D2 recruit, but could grow into a respectable D1 kicker with better KO hangs and a more consistent FG trajectory/ball flight.
