Miami Dolphins Kicker Jason Sanders Kicks 70 Yard Field Goal

Jason Sanders kicked two 70 yard field goals showing off his leg at Kicking World's South Florida kicking camp. The Miami Dolphins Kicker volunteered his day by helping coach middle school & high school kickers who traveled from across the state of Florida to meet and train with him.

NFL Kicker Jason Sanders of the Miami Dolphins volunteered at Kicking World’s South Florida kicking camp on April 7, 2019, held at North Broward Preparatory School. Jason is a long-time student of the Kicking World program having regularly trained with Coach Brent Grablachoff, Owner, for over 7 years.

Sanders came out to give back to the program and inspire the two dozen kickers and punters who attended from across the state of Florida. Not only did Jason help teach and coach the fundamentals to the campers, but he also demonstrated a few kicks including two 70 Yard Field Goals. He signed close to a hundred autographs and took several photos with the excited middle school & high school campers and their parents and family who came to watch the event.

The following video shows NFL Kicker Jason Sanders kicking 5 consecutive field goals from 55, 60, 65, 70 & another from 70 yards. He drills them all dead straight with plenty of distance except the two 70 yard field goals which fell just 3 feet short! Coach Brent said that the 65 would’ve been good from 73 and he absolutely crushed that one.

The Miami Dolphins drafted Jason Sanders in the 7th round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Their strategic move of drafting a kicker paid off as Jason made the All-Rookie Team, kicked several 50+ yard field goals, and even kicked a game-winner. We’re excited about Jason’s NFL kicking future and are happy to be a part of his journey!

There’s no telling what’s in store for the Dolphins this upcoming season with several trades, a young team, and a brand new coaching staff; there’s just too many variables to put forth an accurate season prognosis. Some say it’s a rebuilding year, fans and of course the Club hope for more. One thing’s for sure, All-Rookie kicker Jason Sanders looks to follow-up his impressive rookie campaign where he led the league in touchbacks and finished in the top 4 all-time for the Miami Dolphins single-season FG %. Miami’s strategic move of drafting a kicker last year has already paid dividends as he’s proved to be a weapon hitting multiple 50+ yard field goals and a game winner in his NFL debut season.
