Dec 2022 Showcase update – Ryan showed he has arguably a top 5 kickoff leg in the entire country among any kicking camp out there, and in the top 3 with us for any class. He finished #1 Overall on Day 1 kickoffs and #2 Overall on Day 2 kickoffs. His kickoff grade is A++ if you will and is clearly FBS scholarship ready in that regard. Field Goals are very good and with some small tweaking he should be good there too. If you need a sure-thing touchback machine, Ryan is your guy. With brand new footballs at our National Showcase not one of his kickoffs went less than 70 yards, and most were 75+ yards. Within a week of our 2022 National Showcase, Ryan pulled in a D1 and D2 scholarship offer. July 2022 Update – Ryan has a monster kickoff leg. At our July 2022 Toms River, NJ camp he put several kickoffs through the back of the end zone, and even hit one over the goalposts (estimated at ~75 yards). He hit a best ball 73/3.98 during an informal kickoff competition on Day 1 of that camp. On Day 1 of camp he was a little shaky on field goals, and bounced back strong on Day 2 winning the FG Competition going 8/9 and hitting one of the longest winning kicks of the season at 56 yards. Ryan will be participating in his first KW National Showcase on Dec 3-4 and I hope it’s a nice send off for his senior kicking campaign and enables him to pull in a new offer or two. Currently, he has a lot of interest from various D3 and D2 schools in/around the tri-state area, but I feel he is a higher-level kicker because of his big leg, although his in-game FG stats don’t show his true potential. Kickoff wise alone he’s a D1/FBS level kicker.
