Lukas is an On the Cusp Prospect with some excellent punting ability who can also kick long field goals back to 60 yards. He’s evolved each time we’ve seen him. His form is a little rugged, but he’s been working hard on smoothing it out. In his 6 camp appearances this year he’s shown a commitment to improving fundamental items we’ve pointed out to him. At a recent camp in September, and a private lesson in October he was crushing punts – nice spiral turn over balls in the mid 4.5s second range. The 2018 National Showcase on Dec 8-9 presented some unsavory weather in the mid 40’s temps with cold drizzle, but he still was able to show spurts of his big punting leg. Right now Lukas would be an excellent D3 or JUCO pickup which would give him another year to develop his form.
