Jared has been working with us since his freshman year of HS via private lessons and camps. He’s a reliable young man with a great attitude who puts all he is taught into action. Jared hits a nice field goal and has made a few over 40 yards in-game. Jared is a 4x National Showcase attendee and had a solid 2019 National Showcase performance finishing #5 Overall and also was one of the ‘last 4 standing’ in the FG Elimination competition making 7 consecutive kicks through 55 yards before being eliminated at 60. He gets great distance on kickoffs and has multiple touchbacks but needs to get the hangs up from the 3.6 range he’s at now and improve overall consistency. With greater hang times up from 3.6 to 3.8+ Jared can easily morph from a D2/D3 recruit to more FCS level. Everything else is clean: field goals have great lift/ball flight & consistency, and his kickoff distance is above average.
