Gordon has a 35 ACT and 4.5 GPA. He is very mature, reliable and professional for his age. He and his friend started their own business in high school. Gordon is a D2 level field goal kicker, and on his good days he can hang with FCS level guys. His kickoffs are lacking D1 hang-time and are more in line with D3 level criteria. His field goals are his strong suit, and he can also punt fairly well. He and I (Coach Brent) will be working hard in the ‘off-season’ to further improve his kickoff power and hang-time. With his outstanding academics, any Ivy League, academic-oriented FCS or high academic D2 or D3 school needs to be all over him. Gordon has a bright future ahead of him and he will add value (in the classroom, on the field and after college) to whichever school is fortunate enough to land him.
