Ohio Dominates Summer Kicking Finale
The state of Ohio wowed us last week. Texas has and probably always will be our top state for Kicking World camps. However, we ventured out to Ohio for the first time, to cap off our 2014 summer camp season, and it was pure fireworks. On Friday morning, we had a 1-Day camp in ‘Johnny Football’ and ‘Lebron’ territory at beautiful Avon HS just 20 minutes west of Cleveland. Out of the 24 campers, SIX earned an exclusive Invite to our Invitation-Only Showcase Event in San Diego, CA on December 6-7, 2014!
A day later, we trekked down to Cincinnati, OH, just off the campus of U of Cincinnati at beautiful Walnut Hills HS, for an exciting 2-Day event. Eighteen kickers and punters arrived for a very fun camp with big talent. Four different specialists earned an invite to San Diego 2014 and one joined the Hot Prospect List. Between the 2 camps, 10 invites were given out and Ohio certainly staked their claim as a ‘football state’.
We will be back to Ohio again in 2015 and are planning a Cleveland and Cincinnati 2-Day Camp and possibly a 3rd 1-Day camp next year. 2015 Camp Schedule will be posted online around mid-November. View the 2014 Ohio Kicking Camp Results & Photos.
