1. Where are the Private Lessons Held?

Find a Coach near you. After registering for a lesson you’ll receive an email from us within 2-3 days, with your coach’s contact information so you can discuss logistics, scheduling & meeting location. If you don’t receive contact after 72 hours of registering feel free to shoot us a text or email via the contact page (sometimes during the busy travel season we get a little backed up). If no coaches are near you, you can also fly out to train with owner – Coach Brent in Austin, Texas or bring him to you: Texas Experience or Travel Lessons.

2. Do You Train Both Kickers and Punters?

Yes, we train both kickers and punters. We also have multiple snapping coaches available for short and long snappers.

3. What Ages and Skill Levels do You Coach?

We coach all kickers, punters & snappers ages 9 and up. We specialize in coaching youth, high school, college and professional kickers and punters. Check out our Client List to see all the schools and students we actively coach, including collegiate and professional specialists. Also check out our YouTube videos and Testimonials page for proof of results.

4. How do I Schedule a Lesson with Kicking World?

Simply Register for Private Lessons, pay the lesson deposit ($50) and you will then receive an email from us within 2-3 days with your specific coach’s contact information so you can discuss logistics and set up a date/time/location. If you don’t receive contact after 72 hours of registering feel free to shoot us a text or email via the contact page (sometimes during the busy travel season we get a little backed up). Most weekend private kicking lessons are booked one week in advance during the busy summer and fall months. However, we will always do our best to modify our schedule to help fit you in.

5. When are the Private Lessons held?

Each coach has different schedules but most of us do lessons every Saturday and Sunday and can also be available during the week. Coach Brent is mostly available only during the week in peak camp season (March-August) and daily all other times of the year. After submitting the Lesson Registration Form & Deposit, you will receive an email from us with your specific coach’s contact information so you can discuss logistics and set up a date/time/location.

6. How many students are in a Private Kicking Lesson?

Our service is unique in that we offer private 1 on 1 instruction for our kicking students. A lot of kicking coaches run training sessions with groups of 6-10 kickers which is OK, but we feel students really accelerate in a smaller training environment. So if you schedule a kicking lesson with us, it’s all about You! You can choose to do small group private lessons which are 2-4 students at a time and are great for those who come weekly, or you can opt for exclusive 1 on 1 training for faster results.

7. How Long Is a Private Lesson?

Each small group lesson (2-4 students) is 1 hour long and each 1 on 1 lesson is either 45 minutes or 1.5 hours long. We’ve fine-tuned our instruction to run efficiently and provide the optimal amount of training time to ensure growth and development without over-kicking. You may wonder, what can you get done in 45 minutes? Our coaches are not like most coaches – each session is crisp and structured and we accomplish a lot during our time together. No minute is wasted. Lessons are intense, focused and informative; but also very fun. For most initial evaluations and for students who want to work on 2 or more aspects of their kicking game like field goals AND punting or punting AND Kickoffs, we meet with you for a double-lesson at 1.5 hours.

8. How Much Do Kicking Lessons Cost?

Cost
Rates vary by coach and we charge $50 to $70 per small group lesson (2-4 students at a time). We also offer 1 on 1 lessons which is exclusively you and the Coach for $75 to $100 per 45 minute session or $150-$200 for 1.5 hours. Your first 2 lessons with us must be 1 on 1 so we can establish a baseline and get you on the right track. After that, you’re welcome to join small groups if you choose.

All-Inclusive
We provide a superior service for our students, parents, and coaches with a proven process and system that achieves results. As the old adage goes, you get what you pay for! Kicking World coaches include many services with a lesson that most other providers charge extra for or don’t even offer. You’ll get slow-mo video immediately following your lesson, as well through our powerful social media reach, added exposure when we post short clips of your impressive kicks/punts on Instagram, Twitter, etc. Check out what’s included on the Lessons page of the site to see all the great benefits you get in training with us.

Payments
All payments are due before or at the time of lesson. We do not accept cash or checks. This helps organize our lesson and camp check-in process and we’ve found the majority of parents and campers prefer this convenience! If you’re a returning student, you may pay for your lesson in advance with a credit card, debit card or PayPal on our website in the Shop or at the time of the lesson. Every Coach accepts Credit Card, Debit Card or PayPal. At our Camps and with select private lesson coaches we also offer Apple Pay, Android Pay, Samsung Pay, and Venmo!

For all future lessons, you do not need to submit the lesson registration form & deposit each time. You may simply pay in full online (at kickingworld.com/shop) before your lesson, or in person at your lesson.

9. What Do I Need to Bring to the Lesson?

Your Kicking World coach typically brings everything needed for the lesson and all you need is your cleats and a water bottle or sports drink. But it’s always a good idea to bring a holder, field goal block, kickoff tee and 2-3 footballs to each lesson ‘just in case’. Dress in shorts and a t-shirt (unless cold – then dress accordingly) and stretch a few minutes prior to your lesson start time.

10. What is it like to Train with a Kicking World coach?

Please read & watch all the testimonials from students, coaches, and parents who work with us. You can even view kicking videos of our students in action to see what it’s like to train with Kicking World! Come train with Coach Brent and our staff and you’ll work with a knowledgeable coach who is detail-oriented, personable, and reliable, and someone who is genuinely interested in helping you improve and take your game to the next level.

11. Students with Disabilities – Please Read!

If your student has any physical, mental, social, etc. disabilities that would negatively affect his ability to learn and participate, we NEED TO KNOW this before you register for a lesson. Please CALL us before registering to discuss with the coaching staff to ensure we can accommodate your son appropriately.

12. Is there a Private Lesson Cancellation Policy?

Yes. We honor a 24-hour cancellation policy which means you must provide your Coach a minimum of 24 hours notice for a cancellation or you will be charged for the full lesson fee. And as a courtesy, we kindly ask that you give us at least 3 days notice for any cancellation or time/date change so that we can rearrange our schedule as needed. For travel/out of state lesson cancellations inside 7 days of the scheduled session, a refund may not be provided. All prepaid lesson packages (10 or more, etc) are discounted and no refunds for any unused sessions will be provided. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to this policy.
