2017 KICKING WORLD SHOWCASE (DAY 2) PUNT ELIMINATION RESULTS

William Forman (2018) St. John Vianney, NJ

CLASS OF 2018

CLASS OF 2019
Aaron Rodriguez (2019) Hart HS, CA

CLASS OF 2020
Rene Rodriguez (2020) Mission HS, TX

PUNT ELIMINATION ROUNDS EXPLAINED
Balls were punted from the 35 yard line so whatever the actual distance was, we minus 15 yards to account for the ‘net punt’. i.e. a ball kicked 50 yards in the air, is really listed as a 35 yard punt. Students had a minimum distance (yards) and hang-time (seconds) criteria to meet in order to move on in each round. If a student met the distance/hang-time criteria in their first punt, they did not punt again until the next round. Click the last ‘H2’ column twice to sort students ranked from best to lease performance (ie. 1 to 50). ‘PLACE’ i.e. ranking was determined based on how many rounds the student lasted in the elimination competition. In cases where multiple students were eliminated in the same round, the highest avg score was used to determine place. The round requirements were as follows:

Rd 1: 32, 3.4
Rd 2: 34, 3.6
Rd 3: 36, 3.8
Rd 4: 40, 4.0
Rd 5: 42, 4.2
Rd 6: 45, 4.5

COMPETITION CONDITIONS
Warm & Sunny
Temperature: 64 Degrees
Wind: 5 mph swirling, pulling ball down
Notes: -2 Yard Wind Disadvantage
